Unique Burial of a Child with an Iron Sword Discovered in France

Archaeologists in central France have discovered a burial of a child with an iron sword, dating back over 2400 years. This finding illustrates the ritual traditions of the Gauls in the Iron Age. It was uncovered during excavations of a large Gallic settlement that have been ongoing since 2010.
