1. Who we are and what you agree to

Viche (viche.news, the “Service”) is a news aggregation service that automatically collects headlines and short excerpts from publicly available Ukrainian news sources — websites, Telegram channels and YouTube channels — groups them into stories, and adds context such as media-ownership information and source-transparency scores. By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Nature of the content

The Service does not produce news and does not republish full articles. All headlines, excerpts and linked materials belong to their respective publishers and are presented for informational and citation purposes with attribution and a link to the original. Story summaries, framing notes and source scores are generated automatically and reflect analytical opinions based on our published methodology — they are evaluations, not statements of fact, and may contain errors or omissions.

3. Intellectual property and takedowns

• All third-party content, trademarks and names remain the property of their owners. Aggregation implies no affiliation with or endorsement by any source.
• If you are a rights holder and believe the Service uses your content beyond lawful quotation, contact support@viche.news — we review such requests promptly and remove material where required.
• The Service's own elements (design, code, methodology descriptions, aggregate data) belong to Viche. Reading, linking and lawful indexing (RSS, sitemaps) are welcome; systematic bulk copying of the Service's database is not permitted.

4. Accounts and community

• An account is needed only for community features (votes, comments, saves, follows).
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to it secure.
• You may not post content that is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, deliberately misleading, or that infringes the rights of others; spam and manipulation of votes or scores are prohibited.
• We may moderate, edit visibility of, or remove community content and may restrict or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our reasonable discretion.
• Karma, votes and similar indicators have no monetary value.

You keep ownership of content you post. You grant Viche a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and distribute that content within the Service, for as long as it remains posted.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to interfere with the operation of the Service, attempt to gain unauthorised access, circumvent rate limits or security measures, or use the Service to develop a competing dataset through bulk automated extraction beyond the published feeds.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of aggregated content or automated analysis. Nothing on the Service is professional, legal, financial, medical or investment advice. Source scores are opinions derived from a published methodology and may be disputed via the on-site challenge form.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Viche and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of profit or data, arising from use of or inability to use the Service, or from reliance on any content. The Service is free of charge; where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum amount permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Viche against claims arising from your violation of these Terms or of third-party rights through content you post.

9. Changes and termination

We may change, suspend or discontinue the Service or any feature, and may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the site; the current version with its effective date is always available on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine; disputes are subject to the competent courts of Ukraine, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. If any provision is found invalid, the remainder stays in force. Questions: support@viche.news.
