Ukrainian Parliament Proposes Commemorative Day for Defenders of Luhansk Airport

The Ukrainian Parliament has registered a draft resolution proposing to establish a new commemorative day — the Day of Commemoration for Defenders of Luhansk Airport, to be observed annually on August 31. This date marks the end of a prolonged defensive operation in 2014, during which at least 196 Ukrainian soldiers lost their lives. The initiative aims to honor the bravery of Ukrainian defenders.
