Mayor of a City in Izmail District Arrested for Extortion

The mayor of a city in the Izmail district demanded $35,000 for a permit to construct a wind power station. According to investigations, the official intentionally obstructed the process, receiving the bribe through a cryptocurrency scheme. He has been charged under Part 4 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
