Ukraine Plans to Increase Bioethanol Production to 1 Million Tons by 2030

Ukraine aims to increase its bioethanol production to 1 million tons per year by 2030. Currently, the capacity allows for about 400,000 tons, but industry representatives believe that the planned volumes can be achieved in 1.5 to 2 years with sufficient investment. Bioethanol is seen as a key step towards Ukraine's energy independence.
