Blackcurrant Production in Ukraine: Private Households Lead in Cultivation

Private households remain the main producers of blackcurrant in Ukraine, accounting for 96% of total production in 2025. The leading regions for cultivation include Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Vinnytsia, and Poltava oblasts. While the area under cultivation started to gradually increase after a decline, the overall production volume continues to decrease since 2015.
