Supreme Court Overturns Conviction for Evasion of Mobilization Due to Document Confusion

The Supreme Court of Ukraine overturned a three-year conviction for a man charged with evading mobilization. The court determined that the individual was declared unfit for military service in 1999, and his removal from the registry confirms that he was not subject to conscription. Consequently, the criminal proceedings have been closed.
