A New 2000 Hryvnia Banknote Introduced in Ukraine

The National Bank of Ukraine has announced the introduction of a new 2000 Hryvnia banknote, set to enter circulation on September 4. This move has raised concerns among Ukrainians, recalling the difficult times of the 1990s; however, the current economic conditions appear considerably more stable than in the past.
