Russian Soldiers to Be Tried for Cruel Treatment and Sexual Violence

Prosecutors in Chernihiv and Donetsk have submitted cases against two Russian soldiers accused of cruel treatment of civilians and sexual violence. The incidents occurred in March 2022 in the Chernihiv region and in September 2025 in the Pokrovsk region. One suspect is alleged to have raped a woman following the death of a local man during military actions.
