Decline of Russia's Civil Aviation Due to Sanctions

Russia is struggling to maintain its aviation fleet due to international sanctions, which affect 95% of its passenger flights operated by Western-made aircraft. To circumvent these sanctions, Russia resorts to 'aircraft cannibalization' and plans to produce its own aircraft by 2030, although this appears to be more of a propaganda boast.
