OTP Bank to Acquire Luminor in the Baltics

Hungarian OTP Bank has signed an agreement with a consortium of investment funds, including Blackstone and DNB Bank, to acquire the banking group Luminor operating in the Baltic states. This acquisition will allow OTP Group to expand its presence to 14 countries and increase its assets by 13%. OTP Bank plans to actively invest in credit development and financial innovations in the region.
