Security Service of Ukraine Documents New Instances of Russian Use of Depleted Uranium Munitions in Chernihiv Region

The Security Service of Ukraine has documented six new instances of the Russian use of depleted uranium munitions during attacks on the Chernihiv region from April to June 2026. Hazardous elements were found in 'Geran-2' drones. During inspections, the radiation background exceeded 80 times the normal level, posing a threat to human health and the environment.
