Greece Introduces Drones for Traffic Monitoring

The Greek authorities are launching a new digital traffic monitoring system that utilizes cameras and drones to detect violations. In the first phase, 388 new cameras will be installed to record rule violations, including running red lights. A full launch of the system is planned for September, which could increase traffic management effectiveness by 25-30%.
