Volyn Without Colorado Potato Beetle: Why There's No Pest This Year

This summer, for the first time in 30 years, there are no Colorado potato beetles recorded in the Volyn region. According to crop department head Lyudmyla Sychuk, cold weather and extreme heat have negatively affected these pests. Many regions in Ukraine are also reporting the absence of the Colorado beetle.
