Violations in Cherkasy Shelter for Domestic Violence Victims

Violations have been identified in the "Merezhka" women's shelter in Cherkasy, including the absence of a properly equipped shelter. Representatives of the Office of the Human Rights Commissioner pointed out that the charity could not obtain state funding for the facility's setup. The shelter provides temporary refuge for women affected by violence and their children.
