Michelin Chef Faces Prison for Using Ants in Desserts

A renowned Michelin-star chef in Seoul faces a year in prison for using dried ants in his desserts. Prosecutors accuse him of violating food safety laws, as ants are not included in the list of permitted edible insects in South Korea. The chef may also be fined 20 million won.
