Increase in Lyme Disease Cases Reported in Poltava Region

Last week, 35 cases of Lyme disease were reported in the Poltava region, which is 13 more than the previous week. The highest number of cases was recorded in the Poltava community, along with other localities. Medical professionals note that the disease results from bites by infected ticks and manifests as a characteristic red ring on the skin.
