Scheme of Embezzling 68 Million UAH during Construction of Protective Structures Exposed in Mykolaiv Region
The Security Service of Ukraine, together with the National Police and Prosecutor's Office, uncovered a scheme of embezzlement of nearly 68 million UAH during the construction of protective structures for an energy facility in the Mykolaiv region. The director of a private company is suspected of having appropriated funds received as an advance without any intent to fulfill the contractual obligations. The issue of a preventive measure for the suspect is currently under consideration.
