Old Believers of Bila Krynytsia: Life and Traditions of the Community in Bukovina

The village of Bila Krynytsia in Bukovina is home to Old Believers who fled persecution in the 18th century. Currently, the community consists of around fifty residents, most of whom are of retirement age, while the youth are leaving in search of work. Residents are hopeful for the village's development with the upcoming opening of a new border crossing to Romania.
