Colonel and His Wife Suspected of Fraudulent Military Service and Illegal Payments

The State Bureau of Investigations has announced charges against a deputy commander of a military unit in Zaporizhzhia and his civilian wife. According to the investigation, the officer assisted his wife in fraudulently obtaining over 1.3 million hryvnias for non-existent military service. The woman reportedly did not carry out combat missions, spending most of her time in another city.
