Ukraine to Launch Biometric System for People Search

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announced the launch of a new system "Likon" aimed at facilitating the search for missing persons and identifying suspects. The system will provide automatic matching of photographs with databases, although it cannot be used as direct evidence in court. With the implementation of "Likon", developers have set strict safeguards to protect citizens' rights.
