Parliament Approves Equal Rights for Formerly Incarcerated Military Personnel
The Verkhovna Rada has passed Law No. 15225, equating the rights of military personnel from formerly incarcerated individuals with those of other defenders of Ukraine. The law guarantees equal social and service benefits, including leave and medical treatment. Since May 2024, over 12,000 individuals from correctional facilities have joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
