Ancient Elite Cemetery Discovered in Essex

Archaeologists from the UCL Institute of Archaeology have discovered an ancient cemetery near Chelmsford, dated to around 2,000 years ago. The site includes over 100 cremation graves, five of which belonged to individuals of high status. The findings include numerous artifacts indicating diplomatic ties between the Iron Age population of Britain and the Roman Empire.
