Innovative Approaches to Stroke Treatment in Ukraine

Annually, about 140,000 Ukrainians suffer from strokes, but the country is taking steps to change this reality. The Ministry of Health of Ukraine, in collaboration with the World Bank, has installed 25 new angiography systems to support minimally invasive treatment methods in key regions. This significantly improves treatment outcomes and reduces the time to receive medical assistance.
