Fine for Found Coin: What Happened

A man who found an ancient coin in his yard was fined 2500 UAH. According to Ukrainian law, such discoveries must be turned over to museums or other institutions that handle historical artifacts. Illegally appropriating cultural valuables can lead to serious legal consequences.
