The History of the Potato Name in Ukraine: From Barabola to Bulba

In the Ukrainian language, the potato has around a hundred names, including barabola, bulba, and krumpli. Teacher Dina Mushchenko explained that the variety of names is due to the different routes through which potatoes entered Ukraine from other countries. She noted that this is influenced by historical circumstances and the impact of other languages.
