Scientists Uncover Risks of Bottled Water Exposed to Sunlight

Researchers from the Environmental Pollution and Health Laboratory at Jinan University in China found that plastic water bottles release toxic compounds when exposed to sunlight. The study analyzed six types of plastic bottles, which released volatile organic compounds, including carcinogens.
