Commemoration Day of the Holy Apostles on July 28

On July 28, believers in Ukraine commemorate the memory of the holy apostles and deacons Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, and Parmenas. This day marks the beginning of diaconal service in the Church, when the apostles chose seven men for important tasks in the Christian community.
