Turkish Airlines Flight May Have Flown Through Russian Airspace

On July 12, a Turkish Airlines passenger flight from Tallinn to Istanbul reportedly flew partially through Russian airspace. Although airlines typically avoid such routes, the pilots opted for this path, considering it optimal. The Estonian air traffic management company confirmed that the approved flight plan was supposed to follow a different route.
