Constitutional Court Introduces New Requirements for Determining Bail Amount

The Constitutional Court of Ukraine has ruled to introduce new requirements for the financial justification of bail amounts. Courts will now need to consider the financial capabilities of suspects when determining bail, ensuring a real alternative to detention. The court emphasized the necessity of interpreting this provision in line with the Constitution of Ukraine and international standards.
