In Uzhhorod, doctors have successfully performed the Bentall operation independently for the first time at the Zakarpattia Regional Clinical Cardiology Center. This complex cardiac surgery was previously conducted only in conjunction with specialists from Kyiv. The procedure involves replacing the aortic valve and addressing ascending aortic aneurysms.
