Tourist Firms in Russia Close Due to Decreased Demand

Russia has seen a sharp increase in the closure of tourist companies. In the first half of 2026, 2,700 organizations ceased operations, which is a 52.3% increase compared to last year. The main reasons for this trend include a decrease in travel demand and economic difficulties, particularly due to conflicts in the Middle East.
