The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office have completed the pre-trial investigation of a corruption scheme that resulted in the embezzlement of over 241 million UAH of budget funds intended for purchasing medical equipment for cancer patients. It was established that the organizer engaged officials and representatives of controlled companies, blocking competition during tenders and inflating equipment prices three to four times.
