Warning: Old Hryvnias No Longer Valid

The National Bank of Ukraine has announced that by 2026, some hryvnia banknotes issued before 2003 will lose their status as legal tender. Citizens are urged to dispose of old banknotes and exchange them for new ones. This exchange can be done at any financial institution or NBU office.
