Ukraine Sees Increase in Applications to Block Illegal Gambling Websites

In 2026, Ukraine has submitted twice as many applications to block illegal gambling websites compared to the previous year. Since the beginning of the year, PlayCity has sent 6,668 sites for blocking, attributed to improved monitoring and collaboration among state bodies. Authorities are working to enhance the blocking process to reduce response time to just a few minutes.
