Russia Suspends Shipping Through Azov-Don Canal Following Ukrainian Strikes
Following Ukrainian strikes on Russian vessels on July 10, Russia has halted shipping through the Azov-Don Canal. This canal connects the Don River with the Sea of Azov, and the closure restricts Russia’s ability to trade on international markets. Last night, Ukrainian forces struck 21 tankers in the Sea of Azov.
