Prospects of the Ukrainian-Polish Conflict

The contentious issues between Ukraine and Poland, particularly regarding the glorification of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA), require reassessment. The author argues that none of the UPA leaders have an official status of Hero of Ukraine, and their role in history is recognized more than glorified. Furthermore, Ukrainians possess a unique understanding of their history, which is important to differentiate from Polish and Russian narratives.
