Holy Lake Dries Up in Khmelnytskyi Region

The Holy Lake, the largest in the Khmelnytskyi region, has gradually dried up. Alexei Bilyovskyi, the chief forester of the National Nature Park "Male Polissya," noted that the drying process has been observed since 2014 due to factors including nearby quarries and a water intake that was established in 2016. The lake, which was formed over 10,000 years ago, is considered a national hydrological natural monument.
