Changes in Ukraine's Social Support System: A New Approach by the Ministry of Social Policy

The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine plans to reform the social support system by shifting to a needs-based model. This will mean providing basic social assistance instead of numerous individual payments, alongside social services and employment programs. The approach to supporting people with disabilities will also change, focusing on their functional needs.
