Taiwan to Slow Mobile Internet During Civil Defense Drills

Taiwan plans to intentionally reduce mobile internet speed during its annual civil defense drills to test citizens' communication capabilities in emergencies. In 14 cities and counties, mobile internet will slow for 30 minutes, impacting video calls and social media usage. These measures are part of Taiwan's initiative to boost preparedness amid increasing military pressure from China.
