Blueberry Season in Lviv Region: Gathering and Challenges

The blueberry gathering season is underway in the Lviv region, but this year’s yield is lower due to unfavorable weather conditions and deforestation. Locals, mainly women, go into the forest daily using scooters to reach the berries. The collected blueberries are used for home preparations or sold at the market.
