Scientists Discover If Cats Can Grieve

A recent study from the University of Auckland revealed that cats can indeed grieve for lost friends, whether they were other cats or dogs. A survey of cat owners showed that after a loss, pets exhibited behavioral changes such as increased sleeping and a decline in interest in play.
