A New Vision for Veterans: The Veteran Code in Ukraine

In Ukraine, discussions are underway regarding the need for a new Veteran Code, aimed at transforming the approach to social protection for military personnel and their families. The current law, enacted in 1993, has become outdated and requires revision, influenced by both political will and the ongoing war challenges. Experts estimate that the new code could significantly improve conditions for over one and a half million veterans currently registered.
