Court Orders Compensation for Rivne Community Due to Illegal Logging

The Economic Court has ordered the 'Polissia Forestry Office' to compensate the Zarichne community with 4.8 million UAH for the illegal logging of over a hundred trees. According to prosecutors, in 2025, improper forest protection led to the illegal felling of oaks, pines, alders, and aspens in the Ostrivske forestry. The compensation funds will significantly impact the local budget.
