German Defense Minister Plans New Visit to the US for Talks

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius plans to visit the US in mid-September to hold talks with US Defense Secretary Pete Gantz. The visit includes meetings at the Pentagon, as well as discussions with members of Congress and leaders of defense companies. This is Pistorius's second attempt to conduct a meeting, as a previous visit in May was cancelled due to failed scheduling negotiations.
