Over a Decade, Russia Has Reduced Donbas Population by Nearly a Third, Importing Russian Citizens

The Main Intelligence Directorate reported that over the past decade, the population of Donbas has decreased by nearly a third, from 7.37 million to 3.75 million people. The causes of this decline include war, repression, and forced Russification. Meanwhile, Russia is actively resettling its citizens to the occupied territories.
