Hetmantsev: Ukraine 'has frozen' poverty with a minimum living wage of 11-12 thousand

Daniil Hetmantsev, head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee, stated that the current system of social guarantees does not meet the needs of the population, and the freezing of social standards has resulted in the conservation of poverty. He claimed that the real minimum living wage in Ukraine should be at least 11-12 thousand UAH instead of the current 3,209 UAH. He emphasized that while it is impossible to instantly raise the minimum to this level, a gradual transition is possible.
