Moscow Court Sentences Arkadiy Babchenko to 1.5 Years in Absentia
A Moscow court has sentenced journalist Arkadiy Babchenko in absentia to 1.5 years in a general regime colony for failing to comply with obligations as a so-called 'foreign agent.' The court also prohibited him from administering websites for two years. Babchenko left Russia in 2017 and was placed on Russia's register of terrorists in 2020.
