Increase in Scooter-Related Accidents in Ivano-Frankivsk

In Ivano-Frankivsk region, medical services have treated 6,347 injured children since the beginning of 2026, with 21% of these injuries resulting from accidents involving scooters and bicycles. In the first half of 2026, six criminal cases related to scooter accidents were registered, double the number from all of 2025. Currently, there are no clear legislative norms governing the use of electric scooters in Ukraine.
