Colonel Oleksandr Ocheretniuk, codename 'Chornyi', left a significant mark on Ukraine's military history. He never abandoned his troops during battles, always being by their side. His wife, Svitlana, recalls that his top priority was to keep his men safe, and even in his last battle, Olexandr stayed true to this principle.
